They are networked HMO & PPO plans. They are economical and often have ZERO monthly cost. They offer set copays for most of their services, as well as a financial safety net called a Maximum Out of Pocket. In addition to the normal selection of Advantage plans, there are also certain plans designed specifically for Veterans and plans designed for Lower Income Individuals who receive state Medicaid assistance.

Traditional Medicare Supplements, also known as Medigap plans help pay for the 20% not covered by original Medicare. They offer no network restrictions, high level coverage and lots of freedom.

They have no network restrictions, thus providing a lot of freedom. They offer high level coverage. There are many different supplementals, each with different price points and structures. They do not provide prescription drug coverage, so you will need to purchase a separate prescription drug plan.
